slide scanner QA scanning 35mm slides best resolution Posted on21 June 2010.

Tags: Flatbad Scanner, Scan 35mm, Scan Slides What is a reasonable resolution and dpi/ppi to scan 35mm slides if they will only be viewed on 20 monitor? I am currently using a flatbed scanner and would appreciate any advice you may have. I am not against purchasing a devoted 35mm slide scanner if that is the best thing to do.

I am not seeking perfection, but I would like the best compromise between quality and performance. Thanks. 70 Responses to scanning 35mm slides best resolution T-Bar says: January 6, 2010 at 5:15 am Scan the slides at 300 dpi which is more than adequate.

Make sure you select SLIDE in the scanner setup or the scans will not come out good.

If you have the patience to scan at 600 dpi, you will get the ultimate quality. Buynow it Older Comments Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply.
